Responsibilities: Located in the heart of downtown Fresno, our NICU at Community Regional provides around-the-clock care for some of the region’s most critically ill and premature infants. Community Regional is one of only four hospitals in California recognized by The Joint Commission for Advanced Certification in Perinatal Care and is the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a highly specialized Level III NICU team; lead a team that delivers complex, compassionate care to our tiniest patients. Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements, and ensure operational efficiency. Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development. As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications: Bachelor‘s Degree or Master‘s Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN or MSN) required RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required NRP – National Resuscitation Program required NICRNC – Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse required
