**Title:** Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health • *Schedule:** - Nights: 7 PM - 7:30 AM - Every-other weekend • *Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 91 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week • *Requirements:** - Current WI License - CPR certification • *Roles & Responsibilities:** - Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. - Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. - Document patient care according to standards of care. - Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by a physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. - Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. - Utilize clinical expertise and provide guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. - Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, and appropriately escalate to the appropriate chain of command. • *Compliance / Notes:** - Participation in orientation may be required. - Background checks and drug screens may be mandated. - Review return-to-office (RTO) policies. - Parking and dress code policies apply. - Familiarity with facility logistics may be necessary.
