TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Care. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients experiencing mental health challenges in a variety of clinical settings. Job Responsibilities • Assess and monitor patients' mental health status and psychiatric symptoms. • Administer prescribed psychiatric medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects. • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute psychiatric distress. • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment plans, and coping strategies. • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient care, behavior, and progress. • Ensure safety and compliance with behavioral health regulations and facility policies. • Support therapeutic activities and promote a safe, healing environment. Qualifications • Current and unrestricted RN license in the applicable state. • Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred. • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (PMHN-BC) is a plus. • Excellent communication, crisis management, and patient advocacy skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
