About the Brain Health Unit (BHU) Our Brain Health Unit specializes in caring for older adults with neurocognitive disorders and co-occurring medical conditions. The unit is comprised of two 30-bed units with a total capacity of 60 beds. As part of an interdisciplinary care team , you’ll play a key role in assessing patients, managing medications, and developing individualized care plans that enhance quality of life and promote safe transitions of care. What You’ll Do Deliver safe, compassionate, age-appropriate care to patients and families Conduct and document comprehensive assessments and care plans Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated care Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatment plans Evaluate outcomes and continuously improve patient care delivery What You’ll Bring Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of RN experience Active Maryland RN license (or compact state equivalent) BLS (AHA) certification Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Familiarity with Cerner or similar EMR systems preferred Grow Your Career with Us Levindale offers a Nursing Career Ladder Program that recognizes and rewards your professional development and leadership.
