Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse on our Cardiac Renal Pulmonary Care Unit, you will provide exceptional care to patients in our specialized 18-bed tele unit, focusing on both acute and chronic kidney issues, including acute kidney injury, new dialysis initiations, and med/surg cardiac patients. Our team recently won the PRIDE award, showcasing our commitment to outstanding nursing care.
What you will do in this role:
• Instruct and educate patients and their families on health management.
• Administer prescribed medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs.
• Utilize computerized documentation systems to track and communicate patient conditions accurately.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines and assist with discharge planning.
Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current RN license in Virginia or Compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
