Registered Nurse (RN) - Castleton Freestanding Emergency Department in Indianapolis, IN

**Overview:** We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Ascension St Vincent Castleton Micro Hospital. As a member of our Emergency Department, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and prioritize patient well-being. **Responsibilities:** • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. * Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring patient condition and communicating with healthcare teams as appropriate. * Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. * Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. * Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. **Qualifications:** • Licensure/Certification/Registration: + Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted). + BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted). + Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. * Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or Required professional licensure at time of hire. **Benefits:** • Retirement: 403(b) plan • Well-being support: Employee Assistance Program, counseling and peer support, spiritual care, and stress management resources • Benefit options and eligibility vary by position, scheduled hours, and location.
