🏥 Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you’ll deliver individualized, direct bedside care to critically ill patients, including immediate post–open heart surgery recovery. You’ll work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and apply your advanced clinical knowledge to drive high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities include:
• Monitoring and managing patients with cardiac, neuro, ventilator, and hemodynamic support
• Leading care for post-CABG, valve replacements, and open-heart recovery
• Developing care plans using evidence-based practices
• Delegating and supervising care within the healthcare team
• Participating in hourly rounding and promoting a safe, patient-centered environment
• Taking on charge nurse duties as needed

✅ Qualifications

Education:
• Required: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience:
• Required: Minimum 1 year of acute care CVICU experience (we cannot take new grads at this time)
• Preferred:
• Immediate open-heart recovery experience
• Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator support
• Experience in Cardiac Stepdown or Neuro ICU
• Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN) preferred

Licensure/Certifications:
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona
• BLS and ACLS (required per department/facility guidelines)
