Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical professionals to provide pre-operative and post-operative care while advocating for patients to enhance their experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, reporting any changes.
• Conduct procedures as directed by medical providers.
• Document care provided in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment utilized in cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate's, or bachelor's degree).
• A minimum of six months' clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License required within 60 days of hire for Compact License holders).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
