Pay Range: $44 - $48/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
• Shift: Various Shifts (as needed)
• Provide direct patient care, including initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments, monitoring patient vital signs and machine parameters, and ensuring treatment safety at all times.
• Evaluate patient care by reviewing records, assessing changing conditions, and modifying nursing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Perform essential technical duties, including assembling, tearing down, disinfecting, and testing dialysis machines and water treatment systems.
• Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control procedures according to established policy.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members to coordinate all facets of patient care.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
• Key skills; Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtain ACLS within 180 days)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; dialysis or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Venipuncture skills and experience with direct patient care procedures
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or Multi-State Compact.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required (must obtain within 180 days of hire).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare or institutional work setting is required.
• Experience in dialysis, critical care, or a related acute care specialty is highly valued.
• Strong venipuncture and clinical procedure skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, work effectively in a team, and function with a high degree of quality focus and self-direction.
• Dedication to patient care, safety, and adherence to clinical protocols.
