Job Description: Under the direction of the Nursing Manager of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory and in compliance with the stated goals of Hartford Hospital, the Pre-Admission Testing RN will coordinate and direct the activities of staff and patients to accomplish the goal of patient preparedness for the laboratory experience. The Pre Admission Testing RN will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to facilitate patient assessment and implementation of the patient care plan in the laboratory setting. Qualifications Qualifications: • Current Connecticut RN License. • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred). • BLS certification by the American Heart Association and proof of Arrhythmia Certification required. • ICU/ Step-down/ Emergency Room experience preferred. • Strong Cardiology Background preferred.
