Randol Mill Road Arlington, Texas 76012Work hours: Full-Time (36 Hours a week) Day Shift from 7a to 7p - 3/12 hour shifts per weekDepartment highlights:50 bed ED which includes our vertical treatment area that is called the JET (joint evaluation and treatment).Level 3 trauma centerChest pain, CHF and stroke accredited through TJC and received a gold plus level (the highest level there is) for all 3 programs.Magnet facility
Here’s What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferredCLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalencyRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire requiredBCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredACLS – within 90 days requiredCPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hirePALS - within 90 days of hireTNCC - within 12 months of hireATCN - Advanced Trauma Care Nurse – within 12 months of hire1 year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program requiredAt least 1 year of ER or Critical Care experience preferred What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing ProcessAssesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient careInitiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
