
Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department, Full-Time, Day Shift in Lexington, SC

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide comprehensive clinical direction for patient care in a fast-paced acute inpatient setting. Your expertise will foster patient- and family-centered care, ensuring safety and quality while utilizing evidence-based practices in every aspect of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.
Your role will include:
• Collecting and analyzing patient data to assist in nursing assessments and recognizing changes in patient status.
• Developing personalized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitoring and updating care plans based on patient progress and changes in condition.
• Ensuring continuity of care during patient discharge by planning appropriate referrals and follow-ups.
• Performing direct patient care while adhering to established nursing procedures and guidelines.
• Utilizing resources efficiently, including technology and internal/external services, to provide quality care.
• Advocating for patients and being a key coordinator of care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives by evaluating care outcomes and incorporating feedback.
• Fostering a safe and supportive environment while maintaining strict adherence to compliance and regulatory agency requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Certifications: Current RN compact/multistate license recognized or individual state licensure is required.
