26000912 Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department - Full-Time Day Shift, 11a-11p for Texas Health Alliance Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Alliance -10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: Full-Time - Day Shift - 11a - 11p - 36 Hours/ Week - 3/12 hour shifts a week ED Highlights • Working with a Multi-Disciplinary Team • Patients with critical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of our 40 Emergency Rooms • The opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical technology and equipment • Level III trauma center • Self-scheduling unit with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational Professional Growth Opportunities Here’s What You Need • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required) • RN - Current Registered Nurse required Upon Hire • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire • ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire required • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire required • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire • 1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required. • 2-3 years ER experience preferred. What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process • Assesses the patient • Plans the care of the patient • Intervenes as appropriate • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
