Rotating Weekend and holiday requirements Emergency Department Highlights • Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth • Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team • Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 70-90 patients/day • Flexible scheduling, encouraging department engagement • Diverse patient population Here’s What You Need • Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or • Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required • Two Years experience highly preferred • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required And • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course Upon Hire Preferred • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
