Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (Adult) Location: Bronx, NY 10461 Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Shift | 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM Pay Rate: $65 – $71 per hour Position Type: Contract Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced adult emergency department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions. Key Responsibilities • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult emergency department patients • Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity • Initiate and manage IV therapy and perform phlebotomy as required • Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols • Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions • Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Required Skills & Experience • Minimum two (2) years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience • Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy • Experience with conscious sedation • Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills Education Requirements • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Certifications & Licensure (Required) • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License • Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through NYS Department of Education (NYSED) • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) • AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) For more details contact at sjackson@navitashealth.com About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
