Department: 36802 Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital - Gastrointestinal Services Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: ACLS, PALs req'd; on-call req'd; 8 & 10 hr shifts; Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Registered Nurse (RN) - GI/Endoscopy Downers Grove, IL Where You Will Work: • 2 interventional procedure room; 4 additional procedure rooms plus a procedure room for manometries • 31-40 scheduled cases/day • 8 and 10 hour shifts • on-call once/week; one weekend every 5-6 • Call response time 1 hour We're Looking For: • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association • ACLS and PALS required What You'll Do: • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
