Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy in Loves Park, IL

**TITLE** Registered Nurse – Nursing • *SCHEDULE** 8-hour Variable Day Shift Hours with Evening, Weekend and Holiday On-Call Rotation; Up to 2 weekends • *ASSIGNMENT DETAILS** Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: Up to 2 • *REQUIREMENTS** - Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. - Minimum of 2 years experience required. - Licensed as a RN in Illinois. - Approved CPR/BLS and ACLS certification required. • *ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in the care of patients. - Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care. - Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care. - Document according to standards of care, developing and executing a patient plan of care tailored to the individual needs of the patient. - Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities and act as a mentor to new staff. - Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues as needed. • *COMPLIANCE / NOTES** - Actively participates in continuous learning and growth, including developing or revising evidence-based practice guidelines.
