Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse – Endoscopy to support patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN will assist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while monitoring patient condition, ensuring safety, and providing pre- and post-procedure care.

Job Responsibilities
• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for upper and lower GI endoscopies, bronchoscopies, and other diagnostic exams.
• Provide conscious sedation and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Assist physicians with endoscopic equipment and ensure specimen collection and labeling.
• Deliver post-procedure care, including discharge instructions and recovery monitoring.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow strict infection control protocols.
• Ensure all endoscopic equipment is functioning properly and assist with reprocessing/cleaning.

Qualifications
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy or procedural nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Familiarity with conscious sedation protocols and GI procedures.
• Excellent patient communication and critical thinking skills.
