Job Summary and Qualifications As an Endoscopy RN, your key responsibility will be to assist credentialed physicians during endoscopic procedures to help diagnose, treat, and care for patients. You will work alongside a dedicated team committed to compassionate teamwork. Your responsibilities will include: • Applying nursing principles effectively in the peri-operative setting. • Preparing and equipping endoscopy suites for procedures. • Scheduling patients using established protocols. • Educating patients about their procedures, providing comfort and support, and ensuring their preparedness. • Adhering to moderate sedation policies and procedures. • Monitoring patient status and knowledge of medications used during procedures. • Identifying potential complications related to endoscopic procedures. • Documenting and evaluating patient responses, monitoring physiological and psychological changes. • Promoting a supportive environment for quality patient care through efficient resource and personnel management. Job Requirements: • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. • Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license; compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days post-relocation. • BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of starting. • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required. • Acute care experience is necessary. • Previous experience in endoscopy is preferred. • CGRN certification is a plus.
