Responsibilities The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with the physician and the anesthesia health care providers to determine patient needs during Endoscopic & GI procedures to assume responsibility for patient care, document and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing actions and ensure a safe environment of care. The Registered Nurse will be knowledgeable about the scrub and circulation of duties performed in the department. Age Specific Competencies – age of the patient populations served (Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric) Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.0+ years’ experience.Current NJ Registered Nurse License.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).Ability to adapt to changing situations.Strong assessment skills, along with some case management knowledge when caring for short-term patientsPreferred Job Requirements: 1+ years’ experience as an RN working in an Endoscopy department.Certification in a specialty.Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
