Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Afternoon Shift!
We are seeking a dedicated RN to work from 2pm to 10:30pm, with alternating weekends and holidays. A four-week commitment to training on the day shift (8am-4pm) is required, but this can be negotiated.

Qualifications:
• Education: At least an Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license required.
• Skills: Strong initiative and independent judgment in performing job responsibilities.

Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering and supervising medication while collaborating on care plans for clients in the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) & MBA program. You will address clients' health needs and facilitate appropriate referrals and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and oversee medication for clients in designated units.
• Contribute to the treatment planning needs of clients.
• Provide hands-on care and perform medical treatments as necessary.
• Conduct physical health assessments and document findings.
• Make referrals to pediatricians as required.
• Assist in nursing activities for client admissions and ongoing treatment.
• Educate clients and staff on health topics and medications.
• Document billable hours accurately.
• Orient and train new staff on policies and procedures.
• Attend client staffing and treatment team meetings.
• Support staff in making informed health care decisions for clients.
• Manage narcotics and maintain audit records.
• Coordinate medication orders and returns.
• Follow up on lab results and outside medical appointments.
• Assist with the daily operations of assigned units.
• Engage in Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Stay current on documentation standards and maintain clinical records.
Other Duties:
• Participate in scheduled staff meetings and ongoing training.
• Keep all required certifications and licensure current.
• Respect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards in all work.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
