Registered Nurse (RN) Flex Team Lead in Sherwood Manor, CT

**Overview:** Baystate Health, western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our float pool team in the Central Staffing Office (CSO). As a Registered Nurse on our Flex Team, you will provide high-quality, safe, and effective patient care, working in a variety of nursing units across Baystate Medical Center (BMC). **Responsibilities:** • Provide patient care in a variety of nursing units, including surgical, medical, critical care, inter-care, and others • Work collaboratively with nursing staff to promote professional nursing and utilize a nurse's flexibility, expertise, and experience • Participate in shared decision-making between bedside nurses and nurse leaders • Provide continuing education programs for all nurses and support nurse empowerment through attendance at national conferences, loan reimbursement, and loan forgiveness • Work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on patients and families • *Qualifications:** • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification • Minimum 3 years acute care experience with the last 12 months working in area of specialty • Willing to float to more than one area and be flexible • Education: ASN required; BSN preferred • *Benefits:** • Competitive compensation package • CEU allowance • High-quality, low-cost medical/dental benefits • Robust paid time off • Generous sign-on bonus eligibility • Opportunities for professional development and advancement • Work-life balance in a team-oriented environment
