The Float Pool at Hartford Hospital, also known as the STAR Team, consists of skilled nursing professionals adept at transitioning between specialties with confidence. Our Registered Nurses float across approximately 18 units, including Med/Surg and Step Down areas, alongside those specialized in Critical Care primarily rotating among six ICUs. To provide personalized and compassionate care, our RNs apply extensive nursing expertise, along with effective communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care RN experience; Critical Care experience is preferred.
• Must possess a current Connecticut RN License prior to the start date.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required (BSN preferred).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
