Where You Will Work Our various service lines include Med-Surg and Intermediate Care. This opening requires floating to our High Point Medical Center and Lexington Medical Center locations. We’re Looking For • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association • Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required • NIHSS required • 2 years of RN experience preferred What You’ll Do • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The Float Pool RN provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served. Must be available to provide nursing services in all patient care areas of expertise and knowledge, at all elected facilities.
