A Brief Overview As a Registered Nurse in Endoscopy Services, you will provide comprehensive nursing care by developing tailored nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and delivering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. You'll play a crucial role in helping them understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills while continuously assessing and adjusting care as necessary. What You Will Do • Deliver exceptional patient care by reviewing physician orders, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, and providing support to patients and their families. • Develop individualized nursing care plans by gathering medical histories, examining patients, and documenting physical and psychological conditions. • Educate patients and families about healthcare requirements, conditions, and self-care options, addressing any questions and providing necessary resources. • Evaluate patient care outcomes by adhering to therapeutic standards and regularly reviewing patient records to ensure optimal care is provided. • Maintain a safe and healthy patient care environment by following infection-control protocols and legal regulations. • Document all patient care services in records accurately and efficiently. • Ensure patient care equipment is functioning properly by following established procedures and performing preventive maintenance. • Manage patient care supplies effectively, ensuring they are stocked and available as needed. • Stay current in nursing capabilities as outlined by organizational leadership. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you should be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily, which include effective communication and the ability to distinguish speech and sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Board of Nursing upon hire. Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment.
