Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Full Time Day Shift, Forensic Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.As a Forensic RN, you will be responsible for: Administering medication and treatmentsAdmitting and assessing patientsMonitoring vital signs and symptomsRunning and ordering testsCoordinating care with Physicians and SpecialistsCharting Patient ProgressRequired Skills & Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing PreferredCurrent Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact stateBLS and ACLS requiredAbout Nashville General Hospital Nashville General Hospital (NGH) is Nashville’s original community- based hospital.
