All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc. Responsibilities • Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines • Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans • Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met • Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident • Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels • Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility Qualifications • Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland • 1 year of nursing experience preferred • Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus • Must possess a current CPR license Equal Opportunity Employer FutureCare has a longstanding policy of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual and is free from all forms of employment discrimination, including harassment, because of race, color, sex, gender, pregnancy, age, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
