Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - HVIS Prep & Hold Registered Nurse (RN) - HVIS Prep & Hold at Christiana Care summary: Registered Nurse for the HVIS Prep & Hold Unit providing peri-procedural preparation and recovery care for patients undergoing cardiac, electrophysiology, and vascular/neuro interventional procedures. Role requires BSN (or commitment to obtain within 3 years), BLS, one year cardiac or critical care RN experience, Delaware RN licensure (or eligibility), and offers cross-training in Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab. Registered Nurse (RN) - HVIS Preparation & Holding Unit Full Time - 72 Hours/pay Rotating Shifts : 8-hour, 10-hour & 12-hours Saturday weekend rotation (unit closed on Sundays) Newark, DE Join our dynamic team in the HVIS Prep & Hold Unit—a 36-bed area dedicated to the preparation and recovery of both inpatient and outpatient individuals undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Vascular/Neuro Interventional Radiology Labs. We also support elective cardioversions. Our recovery care includes patients who have received moderate sedation, general anesthesia, or monitored anesthesia care. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate care. The successful candidate will also be cross-trained in our Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab, expanding your skill set and professional development. Education & Requirements: • BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire. • BLS Certification Required. • ACLS Certification preferred. • One year of cardiac or critical care experience as a Registered Nurse required. • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware required. Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
