Responsibilities The Registered Nurse—Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Nursing requiredMinimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care UnitCurrent valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse licenseCurrent BLS certificationACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)PALS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia TrainingAbility to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, perform EKG, phlebotomy (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment)Ability to manage a patient’s airway including us of mechanical ventilation.Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferredExperience with EpicRate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
