Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Med/Surg ICU) Location: Brooklyn, New York Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM Duration: 14-Week Contract Local Rate: $2,380.50 per Week Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week ICU assignment at a high-acuity hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This is a night-shift opportunity in a fast-paced Med/Surg ICU environment. One position remains available. Key Responsibilities • Provide specialized ICU care for critically ill patients, including ventilator management • Administer conscious sedation and IV medications • Perform IV insertion and complex phlebotomy procedures • Monitor hemodynamic status and titrate continuous IV drips • Respond promptly to rapid changes in patient condition • Collaborate closely with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on ventilator weaning and sedation protocols • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards Requirements • Minimum 2 years of Critical Care (ICU) experience • Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience • Minimum 2 years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program • Active New York RN License (NYSED Primary Source Verification required) • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
