Join the Intermediate Care (IMC) team at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and step into a dynamic environment that bridges the gap between the ICU and general medical-surgical floors. This 36-bed unit cares for a diverse medical population, providing advanced nursing care to patients with complex needs in a collaborative and supportive setting. With a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, nurses can deliver focused, high-quality care while utilizing advanced modalities such as respiratory support including BiPAP and CPAP, as well as managing cardiac and insulin drips for medically complex patients. The IMC is an ideal environment for nurses looking to enhance their critical thinking skills and grow in a progressive acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
This position has a hiring range of : USD $35.00 - USD $56.91 /Hr.
