Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control/Staff Development
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Infection Control and Staff Development to join our team at Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction. Your skills and experience will be utilized to develop and implement effective infection control measures, educate staff on best practices, and promote a culture of excellence throughout our facility.
Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control/Staff Development Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Conduct routine surveys and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions
• Collaborate with the infection control team to investigate and resolve infection control concerns
• Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices, policies, and procedures
• Develop and implement staff development programs to improve nursing skills and knowledge
• Conduct staff competency assessments and provide feedback and coaching
• Identify staff training needs and develop customized training plans
• Maintain accurate records and reports of infection control activities and staff training
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and satisfaction
Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control/Staff Development Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure
• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse
• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
