This 392-bed acute care facility includes advanced specialty services such as a Heart Institute and Comprehensive Stroke Program, providing care to medical, surgical, cardiac, and trauma patients. This role is ideal for experienced ICU nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-complexity environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders • Monitor patient progress and respond rapidly to changes in condition • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications • Active Florida RN license (or Compact License; Florida licensure required within 60 days) • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required (MICU, SICU, or CSU experience accepted) • AHA BLS certification required • ACLS and NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
