Join our exceptional team and help us continue this mission. Role Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Critical Care) – St. Rita's Medical Center — Full-Time Nights. Could be eligible for a sign-on bonus! Responsibilities • Deliver exceptional nursing care by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status • Determine the priority of the patient’s problems and needs • Implement clinical nursing interventions for acute, critical patients requiring intensive medical care • Develop and perform patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment Essential Functions • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team • Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessment, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness • Synthesize and prioritize information to take immediate, evidence-based, patient-focused action using clinical judgement and inquiry • Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions • Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and organization policies • Other duties as assigned Education • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred, not required) Certifications • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred, not required) • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 6 months of hire) Experience • 1 year of RN experience (required) • 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred) As a Mercy Health associate, you're part of a Mission that matters.
