Sentara Obici Hospital is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU),As an IMCU RN, you’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients requiring close observation and specialized nursing support. You’ll play an essential role in monitoring complex conditions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients between critical care and general medical-surgical units.Responsibilities:Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.Provide patient and family education to support recovery and ongoing health.Maintain safety, quality, and professional standards in all aspects of patient care.Qualifications:Valid RN license in the state of Virginia (or compact state).BSN or MSN preferred.BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.Prior intermediate or critical care experience preferred.Why Sentara Obici?
