Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Registered Nurse – Spearfish Canyon Healthcare Spearfish Canyon Healthcare is currently searching for talented Registered Nurses to join our team. Monthly compensation: $1,000 per month for the first 30 days. Retention bonus: $12,000. Daily pay available. RN Responsibilities • Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to carry out the duties of this job. • Receive reports at the beginning of each shift, assess resident status, and evaluate their need for continued or immediate care. • Delegate responsibility for direct resident care to appropriate nursing personnel according to needs. • Be responsible for all phases of direct resident care within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act. • Ensure nursing staff perform all restorative measures recommended in the plan of care and required by each resident’s condition. • Report all incidents of change in resident’s condition to the Director of Nursing. • Assist physicians on rounds and keep them informed of the status of each resident, changes in condition, and medical emergencies. • Plan working schedule to allow for education, supervision, and evaluations of performance for all nursing personnel during the shift. • Maintain completeness of resident charts and individual care plans, making sure entries are timely, informative, and descriptive of resident’s condition. • Write daily nursing notes on all skilled residents and monthly summary notes on each resident according to posted schedule. • Be responsible for timely execution of all physician orders, including laboratory testing, specialized therapy orders, and preparation and administration of all medications as indicated. RN Requirements • Valid RN license in good standing. • Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program. • Completion of orientation required by company policy. • Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment. • Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire. • Background check proving no criminal activity. • Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire. • High school diploma or equivalent.
