In this dynamic role, you will:
• Collect and assess data related to patients' health needs and situations.
• Advocate for patients as part of a skilled interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans.
• Evaluate obstetric patients to ensure their well-being and that of their babies.
• Assist in routine deliveries and both planned and emergent Cesarean sections.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and their treatment journey.
Your qualifications include:
• Active RN license in Florida or a valid multistate license with plans to obtain a Florida license within 60 days.
• 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
• BLS certification is mandatory within 30 days of employment.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification to be achieved within 30 days of starting.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within specified timeframes.
