Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States Spartanburg Medical Center – Labor & Delivery – Nights (weekends as needed) – Full Time – Shift: 7p‑7a Unit Description: Spartanburg Medical Center is a Baby‑Friendly acute care hospital with a Level III NICU and an OB Laborist program. Our prestigious Labor and Delivery unit is one of the 5 Level III perinatal centers in our region, delivering roughly 250 babies per month. We have 6 triage beds, 14 LDRs with potential for 16. This team of dedicated professionals is defined by teamwork and a passion for the patients they serve. Job Summary The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient nursing care to patients in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The RN demonstrates clinical competency utilizing evidence‑based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.
