As part of the Labor & Delivery unit, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive birthing experience. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide care and support to mothers throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vitals, and labor progression, intervening when necessary to ensure safety. Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery, including the administration of medications and epidurals. Educate patients and families on labor processes, postpartum care, and newborn care. Document patient information accurately, adhering to hospital policies and best practices. Provide emotional and physical support to mothers and families, ensuring a positive birth experience. Candidate requirements Current RN license in Colorado. 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is preferred.
