Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Location: Brooklyn, NY Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable) Shift: Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts Weekly Gross Pay: $2,800 Position Overview A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will support patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients • Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered • Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy • Assist with labor management, deliveries, and emergency interventions • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation • Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practices Required Skills & Experience • Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Health experience • Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience • Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience Education & Certifications Education • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Required Licensure & Certifications • Active New York State RN License • Primary Source Verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED) • BLS (AHA) • ACLS (AHA) • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) For more details reach at ukhan@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 518-862-1204.
