Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery in West Bend, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Location: West Bend, WI 53095 Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension) Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Schedule: 3 days per week, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week; every 3rd weekend required Job Summary: The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in an inpatient labor and delivery setting. This role primarily supports an adult population and follows ANA Nursing Standards of Practice. The nurse will provide care across labor, delivery, recovery, and may support mother/baby or antepartum patients as needed. Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process • Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods • Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes appropriately • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately • Educate patients and families throughout the perinatal experience Requirements: • Associate Degree in Nursing • Active Wisconsin RN License OR Multi-state RN License (NLC) • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) • Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification (NCC) • Experience in Labor & Delivery; mother/baby and antepartum experience preferred Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) • Strong clinical judgment and fetal monitoring skills #IRI-RN Job Type: Contract Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance Work Location: In person
