Position Highlights
This role may qualify for up to a $12,000 sign-on bonus and a $2,500 relocation bonus.
Shifts: 2:00pm-10:30pm and 6:00pm-6:30am; 64 hours over 2 weeks

A Brief Overview
As a Registered Nurse in Long Term Care, you will provide essential nursing care by developing personalized nursing diagnoses, establishing targeted care objectives, and implementing interventions. You will offer comprehensive emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents and their families, ensuring they understand conditions and care plans.
What you will do:
• Deliver exceptional resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize care plans.
• Develop nursing care plans that encompass the complete medical history and psychosocial needs of residents while documenting their statuses accurately.
• Educate residents, families, and friends on healthcare requirements, medications, and self-care skills to empower them in their health journey.
• Evaluate residents' care by adhering to therapeutic standards and adjusting care objectives as necessary based on changing conditions.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, strictly following infection control policies and legal regulations.
• Ensure resident care equipment is operating effectively and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Keep supplies well-stocked and anticipate needs to allow for seamless resident care.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with precision and attention to detail.
• Lead and mentor nursing assistants and other personnel in care delivery.
• Commit to professional development and maintain competency in nursing practices.
Essential Qualifications:
The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform successfully in this role, you should be capable of fulfilling essential job functions effectively, which includes good visual acuity and effective communication skills.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice upon hire.
Preferred Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or long-term care environment.
