$32.50 - $48.50
Position Highlights
May be eligible for a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus!
Work hours: 6:00pm-6:30am; 72hrs/2wks including every third weekend and holiday
$3 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL is available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights!
Student Loan Repayment: This position may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, helping you pay off your loans faster, with additional monthly payments of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera toward your principal balance.

Job Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, setting care objectives, and defining nursing interventions. You will offer physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends, helping them understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills while continuously evaluating and adjusting care to meet residents' changing needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive resident care by collaborating with the healthcare team, reviewing physician prescriptions, and effectively communicating care plans.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans through thorough assessments of medical histories and physical and psychological evaluations.
• Educate residents and families on health requirements, self-care, and medication management.
• Monitor and evaluate care outcomes and modify nursing care plans as needed to maintain high standards of health care.
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control protocols and legal regulations.
• Maintain operational readiness of resident care equipment and manage inventory effectively.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers within the facility.
• Lead and guide the workflow of nursing assistants and other nursing staff.
• Stay competent in nursing skills as outlined by leadership.
Requirements

Education, License/Certification, and Experience:
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Active license in the state of practice upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or long-term care setting.
