Work Schedule:

Remote position. 60% FTE day/night position. You will work a mix of day/night shifts, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm and 8:00 pm – 8:00 am. On call requirements. You will work a weekend rotation and holiday rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Serve as an Organ Allocation and Triage Specialist and play a critical role in supporting organ donation and transplant activities. This position requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate highly time-sensitive operations.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
• Facilitate acceptance or refusal of donor organs for transplant, ensuring timely communication with transplant centers, surgical teams, and other stakeholders.
• Execute complex logistical support for all aspects of organ recovery and placement, including coordination of transport, surgical teams, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in the development and execution of quality assurance programs and projects to ensure adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices.
• Use targeted assessment skills to assess transplant patients via telephone triage.

Qualifications
• Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Nursing or relevant area Preferred
Work Experience
• 1 year of ICU nursing experience or three (3) years of clinical nursing experience Required
• Progressive nursing experience with demonstrated success Required
• 2 years of transplant or closely related nursing experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
