RN Supervisor RN SUPERVISOR Full time 3p-11p Monday- Friday Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Waterbury, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse Supervisor. Come join our team! RN Supervisor Job Summary : The Registered Nurse supervisor will oversee day-to-day nursing activities in the facility, including developing work assignments, ensuring sufficient staffing and maintaining good working rapport. RN Supervisor Responsibilities : • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required. • Ensure that direct nursing care is provided by a licensed nurse, a certified nursing assistant, and / or a nurse aide trainee qualified to perform the procedure • Ensure that all RNs and LPNs on your shift comply with written procedures for the administration, storage, and control of medications and supplies. • Provide leadership training that includes the administrative and supervisory principles essential for your Charge Nurses. • Ensure that nursing service personnel follow established infection control procedures when isolation precautions become necessary.
