Job Description
GLC Group is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN/Per Diem shifts in Med Surg units in Selma, AL.
Pay & Schedule:
• $37/hr
• Weekly pay – every Friday
• Guaranteed shifts weekly
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient assessments and monitor for changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Provide wound care and post-op management
• Manage IV therapy and fluids
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team
• Educate patients on conditions, medications, and discharge plans
• Collect specimens and monitor lab results
• Implement safety and infection-control measures
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support discharge planning and patient transitions
Requirements:
• Active RN license in Alabama
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med Surg
• BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
