Parker Plano, TX 75093Work hours: Full Time Nights 7p- 7a - Weekend and holiday requirements Medical Surgical Department highlights:22- bed Medical Surgical Telemetry unit1:5 RN: patient ratio, 1 PCT for every 10-11 ptsExperience as preceptor and/or charge nurse highly preferred Here’s What You Need:Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program; nursing diplomaBSN preferred.1 year experience as a registered nurse or completion of a RN residency program reqRN Nurse Upon Hire RequiredBCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req. What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing ProcessAssesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
