Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Trauma Unit (Part time Days) Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together • Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 • Work environment: 23-bed trauma med surgical unit specialized in treating patients suffering from traumatic injuries. • Work hours: Part Time Days 24hrs/week (7a-7p)- rotating weekend and holidays Here's what you need: • Nursing Diploma Nursing • Associate's Degree Nursing • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred • One Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly What you will do: • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process • Assesses the patient • Plans the care of the patient • Intervenes as appropriate • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers • Cardiac Focused Care • Management of various cardiac drips Additional perks of being a Texas Health Nurse • Unlimited access to online continuing education for professional and career development.
