Location: Avera St Mary's Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends (United States of America) Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights Eligible for up to $15,000 sign-on bonus and $2,500 relocation bonus Shift hours: 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am; 72 hours/2 weeks You Belong at Avera Join a compassionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to Moving Health Forward. A Brief Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing care that includes developing diagnoses, setting care objectives, and providing holistic support to patients and their families. Your role is vital in ensuring patients and their loved ones understand care plans and are actively involved in their recovery. What You Will Do: • Deliver exceptional patient care by interpreting physician prescriptions and clearly communicating care plans to the healthcare team. • Develop individualized nursing care plans based on thorough patient assessments, including medical history and current health status. • Educate patients and families on managing conditions, understanding medications, and adapting to self-care techniques, fostering empowerment and confidence. • Continuously evaluate patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary to meet health objectives and enhance outcomes. • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients by following strict infection control protocols and adhering to legal and organizational standards. • Document all patient care activities thoroughly to ensure clear communication and continuity of care. • Maintain and troubleshoot patient care equipment, ensuring all supplies are ordered and stocked appropriately. • Seek opportunities for professional growth and maintain competence in nursing skills. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to fulfill the specified hours and perform essential job functions, including effective communication and visual acuity necessary for patient care. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state upon hire. Preferred Experience: • 1-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
