How you'll contribute • Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. • Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family. • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. • Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs. • Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances. • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. • Participate in performance improvement and continuing education • Maintains regular and reliable attendance. • Performs other duties as assigned. License: /Certifications: • Current RN license in state of practice • BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
